Review: The Lovely Bones

The Lovely Bones
The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

An intriguing story of settling matters from beyond.
The Lovely Bones sweeps you into Susie Salmon’s life as she hovers between earth and the hereafter, trying to let her family know who it was that had so brutally murdered her. She watches as her family is torn apart by her death, and how each one handles the situation so differently. She watches as the man who plucked her life from the world begins to unravel himself. She watches as he flees – but there is no escape for such as he, is there?
An intersting way to tell a story of retribution. Well worth the read.
